Pecha Kucha Night

Pecha Kucha night originated in Tokyo back in 2003, and has now spread to over 230 cities worldwide, including Edinburgh. The format is simple: each speaker is allowed a deck of 20 slides, which auto-advance every 20 seconds. You are allowed to speak about any subject you love. When I heard of this event happening locally, I simply had to put together a presentation about collective nouns.

I’ve published my slides with an audio voice over here. It uses the latest HTML5 audio technology, which doesn’t require the Flash plugin, but not all browsers support it yet. That’s living on the edge, folks.
